It should finish #1 for the week though as they are ahead by a considerable margin from the other groups that released a physical single yesterday (japan). Only question is the single from Sakurazaki46 "BAN" which is having very good staying power and they released their single just a week before. All the 46/48/Johnny groups are physical beasts though not that good at Digital.

For Oricon, daily sales results have never been important. The weekly results are much more important and news programs always report weekly results, but they still got off to a very good start.
They will likely get #1 for weekly sale based on who released singles the same day as them. I am just hoping they break Falling Flowers record for first week sales tho.
Not sure if this was intended to shade them or not but they'll probably have a good 2nd day and end the first week with great numbers closer to their latest releases, their Japan sales are always impressive

It’s not the daily that matters the most, it’s the weekly. Seventeen never had a decline in sales, so I believe this will either surpass FF sales or either fall around the same area, which is great as well.
Plus, it’s revealed they had 300k pre-orders, so it seems like a good sign. If I remember correctly, it’s definitely more than FF’s pre-orders. Correct me if I am wrong.

They will get weekly for sure but not sure where they will be monthly since they will be up against NiziU and Sakurazaka46..and both hit over 300k already
