I think if the roles were reversed people would be a lot more sympathetic and it's unfair to him. People pretend men can't get caught up in abusive relationships and when a story of it comes out they always go right to victim blaming

But back to your topic..
It's a difficult situation where if it's true that he was in an abusive relationship then I don't agree with it. But if he is lying then I don't really know .. i think people are totally extreme these days and just forget that depression can kill and being treated like this too.

Right. People think women can't be abusive and manipulative to their significant others, and that men can't be victims. This is honestly a very outdated view, and I'm actually not surprised by this reaction considering Korea is still very behind on issues like these. It's still very sad and disappointing though.
I don't know why so much time and energy is being poured into "kicking out Kim Junghyun", when Seo Yeji is the one who should be banned from the entertainment industry tbh.
