    On February 6, 2025, Korean pop news publisher SWAY reported that P NATION is preparing to introduce their first girl group sometime in 2025 made off all-rounder members. It was also revealed that i-dle's Soyeon is in charge of the creative direction and music for the group.


    On June 9, 2025, P NATION opened the SNS accounts for Baby DONT Cry and announced they will debut on June 23.


    On June 10, Yihyun was introduced as the group's first member, followed by Kumi on June 11, Mia on June 12 and Beni on June 13.
