When she was with HKT48, she just didn't do music but appeared in tv-series, movies and variety shows. But with Le SSerafim, she gets worldwide attention and going on tour. But less oppertunities?
Le SSerafim Sakura gets lets oppertunity as a Kpop idol than Jpop idol?

She might be getting less opportunities as a kpop idol, but she's most likely making much more money. She can also leverage her kpop fame to have a stronger post-kpop career. She's now known in markets outside of Asia which will give her more opportunities because I don't think she would get this kind of fame if she was just a jpop idol. I can't really think of a jpop idol that has more global fame than a kpop idol in a big 4 company.

Thank goodness she doesn't have to appear on those cringe-worthy Japanese TV shows anymore.

She chose to come back to Korea right. Either she loves working here more than Japan, or it’s better for her financially (or both).
It's most likely better to work in korea because better pay, and more opportunities. Interesting thing is 2/3 iz*one members returned to the kpop industry. So, maybe that's saying something when comparing the 2 entertainment industries.
I think a perk with being in a kpop group is visibility and they will still maintain Japanese fans. However, maybe it's tougher to find work in Japan with similar pay and recognition because if they want to continue music, then they can't do it as an idol and most likely have to be a soloist.
