I like singer Ksoo more by far, but he is my favorite singer in the world whereas he is "just" one of several actors I really like. Plus I like music more than any other art form. But he is a really talented actor. It's crazy how he's able to satisfy his fans in both fields, he's such a hard worker.

I never liked actor Kyubgsoo in the beginning. I always felt like he paid more attention to acting than singing but damn he's so good. 
Now I'm glad I have and love both.
He makes one of the best kdrama psychopaths ever in this drama. He's so smooth and he makes it look cool 😎

Honestly he's done much more singing than acting ever since he finished his enlistment (although still not enough for me lol). He's done 2 dramas and 2 movies in 4 years, but for singing he's done 4 solo albums, 3 EXO albums (including the upcoming one), 3 singles, 2 OSTs, and two tours. He's prioritized singing, but because he's one of the few idols whose acting gets noticed outside of their bubble it's made out like singing is secondary for him.

It kinda felt like he had no choice but to act more before enlisting and then after enlisting, he chose to make up for all time he spent acting with new music.
I think acting also helped him not to fight with SM. I feel like it was a great bargaining chip for him to leave SM. Singing more would've had him fight for more freedom and probably end up like CBX or still under SM.
And, yes, his acting is so good that he gets a ton of attention for it.
