It looks like they're the ones initiating these cases, and not JYPE? Why? What is JYPE doing? There are deepfakes of their other groups as well.

I'm not sure I buy it, on the basis that defamation against a member of a group is also defamation against the group (and the group is property of JYPE).

But in any case, I hope at least they are using JYPE's legal team, for free.

To state it another way: If people start defaming and creating deepfakes of Kickflip or Girlset, it's obvious that the members would not have the resources to individually fight back. Their only hope would be JYPE, who should act (and have the legal right to act!) because that stuff negatively affects their IP.
