There are some singer turned actors there, incl Junho, Hyeri, Yoona and possibly a couple I might have missed but they are no longer considere to be singers.
However, there is a hot potato among this crowd.
IU was invited, probably as an actress, but since she did release an album this year she could still be considered as a singer.
IU had refrained from showing up in awards since 2021, refusing to meet younger idols and only inviting some to her Palette shows.
As her influence waned, no 4.5th (so called 5th but I call them 4.5th) generation idols could bother themselves to watch the 1,351 years old's concert in 2024.
The organizers invited a bunch of Tangerines actors, although not Park Bogum, to keep company of the soon-to-be-former Senior Singer of KPop, but it will be interesting to see whether these singers would come to greet the senior singer who is now increasingly becoming the butt of jokes as the truth of her wielding an inordinate amount of power despite of having no influence outside of Korea.
Some of the acts, like IVE, Le SSerafim and Riize, had met the Senior Singer. However none of the 4.5th gen did. And, strangely, Woodz, the other Edam Entertainment singer, is not known to have met the soon-to-be-ex Senior Singer of KPop.
Will they come to see the Senior Singer or not will be a great spectacle to watch. If they come to see her, it shows the senior Singer's influence still exists to some degree. If not, that means the Senior Singer is now done, not respected by the new gen of KPop as they feel there is no longer a reason to pay filial duty to the former owner of Edam Entertainment.
