The vocal queens are making their 1st Mini album debut in April with Wendy on April 5th and Wheein on April 13th. Both are amazing top vocalists and come from popular girl groups Red Velvet and Mamamoo.
Another thing they have in common is that they both seem to be the under appreciated members of their respective groups in terms of fanbase/popularity.
So this begs the question, whose album do you think will sell more?
I think Wendy's solo will be more popular since Red Velvet has a bigger fanbase than Mamamoo
Wendy, especially because RBW just angered their entire Chinese fanbase and half of their base in SEA are still iffy with them.
Now the Chinese fans (who we all know buy the most albums for most groups) decided to stop spending money on projects that will indirectly put money in the company's pocket, so yes to streaming and buying ads, but no to buying copies of the album.
