Why is AESPA commonly ranked above IVE during Top 5 4th gen ggs discussions?

  • I'm genuinely just wondering why.

IVE has managed to have a consistent sound and success with each and every single one of their comebacks SINCE their debut. Even Rebel Heart that I personally (and I'm sure other people also) rank the absolute last on IVE's best tts is still on the charts, meanwhile AESPA only hit it bigger after Drama.

Are their international feats about all that gives them the edge?

  • This is why.

Even Dirty Work is mixed bag for most of the fans, there are still a large gap between them.

On K chart, Dirty work is not looking too hot compare to their previous comeback but IVE did not have any song come close to Supernova and Whiplash in several comeback.

There are more stats. Iam tired. People can go search for them on X.

  • Your timeline is also incorrect.

Next Level was aespa's biggest hit prior to Super Nova, and they also secured their first Perfect All Kill with Savage.

They were a top 3 group of their generation well before Drama released.

I'm aware of all this, Yama.

I specifically said Drama because that is what fully opened them up to the West.

I specifically said Drama because that is what fully opened them up to the West.

Then you should say that instead of the blanket statement that Drama is when they hit big, as that is a factually incorrect statement.

They got invited to Coachella well before Drama by the way, and I saw them on daytime television shows in the U.S. well before then.

Just filling in your knowledge gaps for you.

    :meme-wink:

Drama IS when they hit it big, though.

Like i said before, that's the song that really opened them up to the West and this was AFTER they were already 4th gen leaders in SK.

The whole is greater than the sum of its parts, you know?
