Yeah, I think it's random too 
But I've said it before and will say it again: Lisa is one of the most versatile artists, not just in Kpop but in general. She can pull off lots of concepts: cute, badass, casual chique, elegant, cheerful summer style, high fashion and apparently also a kind of futuristic style I associate with gaming.
I love Playstation, so she chose the right console to promote in my view 
I am guessing they want to promote more to women and we all know that now she is promoting it, quite a few of her fans will get interested as she is one of those powerful idols that can sell out things. There are plenty of women who own playstations, but it is still a group where much more can be won.
I'm so glad I'm a Sony
