What do you think of this producer as a replacement for NewJeans’ old producer?

  • Thanks everyone for posting his discography. From the looks of it, while there are some songs I like, his style is generally a genre-less and quite plastic pop-sound. Like the taking the synths from an Electro House song and putting them into a simple pop arrangement.


    NewJeans thrived on genre really, and a lot of their tracks have the heart of a genre song at their core, be it New Jack Swing, Liquid Drum and Bass or UK Garage - or they had quite unique instrumentation rather than just de-tuned synth waves. I think their sound probably would have taken a strong turn for the worse, especially if he was their sole producer.
