What do you think the employees of Ador do all day?

  • They are in a position that probably no other kpop entertainment company has been in. They have tons of money and zero active artists... :thinkerpepe:

Of course they have some trainees, so the various teachers and instructors have things to do. But just say you worked in the marketing department, or were a graphic designer making flyers and stuff for the company. What do you do now when you show up at work everyday? :pepe-shrug:

  • IIRC, the majority of OG staff left after MHJ left. They say a number of Belift staff started filtering into Ador, but I think that's just a rumour. Also, we don't even know if Ador even has trainees still. For all we know, they could've left or been moved over to other labels under Ador.

As for marketing. Well... according to female Bang Bang, she edits all the videos, watches the girls and wishes they'd come back *tiny violin*

So MHJ owned 18% of ADOR at one point. If she still does, and Hybe essentially absorb it so it no longer exists, do her shares just become useless?

I assume it depends on the contract on the ownership of those shares (I assume they are a part of the shareholder agreement that is in contention in court).

It seems that whilst she may legally own those shares (or it seems she does, so far), those shares were funded by BSH through a loan, and he was reportedly calling time on the repayment of said loan in January.

That sounds like such a mess. Then you have the fact that NewJeans will still be generating a non-insubstantial cash flow for the company through streams, YouTube and physical merchandise - so I wonder where all that money is going? They must have a finance team to manage it, so I guess that’s some employees with something to do and I presume the new CEO is still in position even if she is just a puppet CEO leading a false shell of a company…

IIRC, some of it has gone into HYBE IP, the gaming division, and whilst some has gone towards Hybe's debt repayments and/or debt refinancing 🤔
