I graduated from high school nearly half a decade ago. At that time, I was like "I want to go to college," then "I don't want to go to college," and now, here I am, actually wanting to go to college this time.

However, I want to go to college in another state.

Yes, I know that out-of-state college students pay more compared to in-state.

And no, I'm not gonna disclose what I want to study because that could change depending on my interests.

Right now I want to go to college before going to a university.

  • Assuming you mean either a junior/community college or vocational school, in-state college... then to the university with the best programs for your studies, wherever that may be.

Do you know anyone who went to an in-state college and then an out-of-state university?

What do you mean by college? Junior college? Vocational school? Undergrad? I'm in the US, so, want to make sure i'm understanding before answering.

There's a state college near me, so yeah I'm talking about state college.

  • My state has a ton of "brand name" colleges and universities, so I'm really biased. I'm from California so ofc there's like the CSU System (Cal States) and of course the UCs and then there's the real cool Community Colleges that offer University classes (maybe not all but some) that are equivalent to that of a course at the Cal State and UC level. The privates are really big, like Chapman University is the Performing Arts school that is really hard to get into as well as USC which rivals UCLA. I got into UCR when I applied in high school. :) I attend one of the top 100 Community Colleges, Orange Coast College. Go Pirates!~
