Before things escalated this much, I secretly hoped MHJ would be gone for good and Hybe would take full control of NJ. Like, I can give that woman credit for being creative, but she doesn’t know how to promote her group properly. NJ lacks activities outside of their cfs gigs and the occasional festival they attend. There were minimal interaction with other idols, hardly any variety show appearances, weird rollouts, no buildup hype for comebacks, and so on. Their comeback promotions were always quite short and mostly relying on the songs’ virality only.
I once wished NJ would get that guerilla promotion like Lsf have, where Hybe shoved the girls in everyone’s faces—Mc jobs, variety shows, Eunchae having her own Yt show, Yunjin solo songs, fan meetings, tours, interactions with other idols to promote the group, and so on. It felt like Lsf was always doing something, and Hybe made sure you couldn’t escape them. And song-wise, I’m not gonna lie, I was excited to see what Hybe had in store for NJ.
But then Hybe turned out to be the bigger villain in this story.... What a waste
