I do not have an iphone so I cannot access the mnet voting screen.
From some snippets I could glance, I saw Jungkook was #1 among male idols.
Also, among female idols,
10 Illit
9 Jennie
6 Twice
1 aespa.
People not relevant for KPop are omitted.
8 Is Lee Youngji. How she got into this , no one knows, but apparently some Exo-Ls voted for her because of her collaboration with Do Kyungsoo.
I won't mention who is #2, but given my long posting history, it won't be hard to guess who is that person.
The question is why all the younger generation acts, except aespa, are not able to defeat #2, who DEBUTED before the youngest member of BabyMonster got to be born.
What did the new generations do so they are still behind a certain 31 (actually 1,345) years old?
The results would have changed by now, but the very fact that someone as old as their fave's mother still menacing the newer acts is , I have to say, wrong.
I now think the newer acts are more responsible for this. They did not get more popular than someone who should have been sent to a retirement home long ago, and KPop has become the only pop scene on earth where a Senior Singer still plays at the same ground as the fresher acts.
