When you see how competitive the list is, BTS getting 19 is amazing. They are already above some amazing artistes. I wasn’t expecting them to feature when they weren’t included in the honorable list and I saw the acts in the top 25.

I think what helped for BTS is that they included their solo activities and achievements under the group’s umbrella which might have influenced their rankings

I think you are mistaken. This is a century list, not a decade list. Olivia has already been listed in the Honorable mentions. Sabrina is too new to be on this list

Surprised that Ed Sheeran and Katy Perry are so low. I suppose that top 10 will be Eminem, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Drake, Beyonce etc.

I think Michael Jackson may be on it too. I mean he was still releasing music in the early 2000s. Mariah Carey will be very high too

PAVED THE WAY

Century pop icons - it isn’t just about the music but changes to the music and pop culture industry etc. I knew BTS has def made so much impact and I am happy this ranking acknowledges it. 19 is not bad given it’s BB.

There are some mega icons left a la Beyonce, Adele, Eminem, Coldplay too.
