I liked how the old forum would convert gif, jpg, YT, and Streamable URLs to the appropriate displayable media. Can it please be brought back?

Yes please. I searched the toolbar for how to embed media. Finally I just quoted a post with a youtube video in it to figure out the syntax. Not very intuitive.
