When is the best time to write books?

  • it can absolutely be both.

Dear, what I like to do is keep a journal with me, I call it my idea journal, though Im sure Im not the first to discover the name lol

I use this journal to write down all my ideas, whether its for songs, concepts, essays, rants, stories, whatever. I write the time, date, and my location of this idea at the top, then write the idea beneath it

That way, when my ideas slip (My ideas usually come to me like dreams, I think about them for a second and then when I try to remember it a second later, I forget), I have them saved and written down for later so I can recollect it, add to it, and start writing

Theres also the brain dump, where you have an idea for a story and you dump out all your ideas from your brain to a page, just any details at all, maybe significant words or phrases, character names, themes, plot points, events, etc

Writers tend to know what they want to write and the story before writing, but these tactics can help you remember as well as plan out for future reference.

You CAN write to improve, and thats usually what writers do as beginners, they dont write necessarily because they have to, but because they want to expand on that expression and learning, practice makes perfect

You can also know beforehand, its best to have an idea instead of going on a page before knowing, but that can also be something you do.

Writing has no rules, you want a story, make a story. Whatever you desire
