Having been an active user here back in 2022, I miss the Newcomer's Den subforum 
It was a place where we could introduce ourselves. Horizonshard said that "it's never too late to introduce yourself" or something like that after I asked if I could introduce myself because I joined in 2020, but I never came back until 2022.
I'll be honest, that would be useful to me. This is just a throwaway account I made so I can get help for my 'kpop addiction' (to make a long story short) from a community that wouldn't ridicule me for it (like everyone on reddit). A mod told me I had to make at least 30 posts to make my own thread though, so here I am. It would be nice to be able to make an intro thread so I wouldn't have to keep explaining why I'm here every time I post.

I had to ask a mod why I couldn't post, nothing told me. If I had known, I wouldn't have bothered to register at all. This is literally a K-pop forum...most people are here because they like K-pop. If you're just trying to 'let go' of it and don't want to engage, you're probably in the wrong place. The post limit exists to prevent spam and bots; you're not being singled out. If one question is all you wanted to ask, maybe this wasn't the right platform to begin with.
Where else can I go then? Reddit is nothing but trolls, but it seems to be the only place you can post anything. Trying to find other boards, I can find none other than this. At least a board that gets posts more than once every few months anyway. I have to use a freaking comment just to ask what else I can do! Still doesn't change I was given no forewarning of this. I wouldn't have bothered if I had any idea I would have to go through this much trouble. Also, this stupid feature is making me tempted to actually spam just so I can MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE. Counterproductive to your stated goal, isn't it?

How do you expect KPOP fans to tell you how to move on? You cannot be serious. you really don't need a forewarnig about posts. This is a FORUM. There are rules here.
