The songs chosen don't sound like or fit the status quo of what's popular in Japan right now and they didn't feel trendy or interesting enough to catch on with general Kpop fans.
Like I think 2023 Twice in general dropped their quality to the lowest it's been. I think Misamo was only meh. I mean none of the songs were very interesting or catchy at all. Marshmallow was enjoyable on the first few listens.
