IU's "Love Wins All" music video accused of belittling people with disabilities

    Well... when I saw an article saying that, I went to check the video. (It's like the saying "bad publicity is good publicity")

    When I watched it, I didn't feel like it was belittling them.

    And I actually liked both the song and music video.


    But well... I'm not blind or deaf, so I probably have no rights to say whether or not it actually is belittling them.


    Whether or not they are belittling them, I think it wasn't their intention.

    They just wanted to tell a story.


    It's reminding me of when a kpop artist had recommended the book "Me Before You" by Jojo Moyes.

    That book was controversial and many people found it ableist, but I don't think that the kpop artist condones ableism.

    Its impossible to win with some people and its simply not worth to engage or even begin arguing against it

    I don't see how the MV is making fun of disabilities, the characters live in a dystopian run-down world, of course they're going to have disabilities.
