Why are people taking screenshots?

I mean I sometimes take screenshots, bc of something funny my friend said.

But I can see your perspective though about privacy.

I know my friend screenshotted something personal I told her in Snapchat & got a notification that she screenshotted it. Really creepy & uncalled for.

I only screenshot mean comments on forums/Discord for funny jokes or compliments people send. Nothing to use against them. I justwanna remember the jokes or compliments because I do have a lot of self esteem issues. As for the mean comments its not for just one comment, its constant bullying, mostly for the purpose of reporting

People have different intentions. Maybe that friends gave you words of couragement and you want to see it again when you're down. I personally don't save my chat with other. I delete it after the conversation ends
