Which agencies should make a move to sign top R U Next trainees? My ideas

  • Plenty of groups have had 21-22 year old or older.

Blame the current crop of adult kpop stans who fall over themselves simping for parasocial relationships with 15 year olds - they've simply no shame.

If any of the trainees are 21-22, send em to Cube or RBW or SM, whatever you think of those companies, they don't shy away from debuting adults.

  • Lots of small companies out there trying to poach famous trainees.

But they may not make any money there, just debut, perform in obscurity for a few years and then grow up and get a real job.

YG too, Babymonster is debuting kids, but the oldest one is a 02 line. Tbh Hybe seems the most restrict age wise, Lesserafim is a different case because they wanted Sakura for the hype and Chaewon too (so Yunjin could blend with them), but they usually don't debut any 20 years old or older.

  • They reason why they want extremely young idols is that the target market is tweens,8-14 year olds. The tweens are easier to make stans and stay as stans for many years.

If they debut older idols, then these tween wont be interested, because they cannot identify with a 18+ year old.
