Looks like Woodz and Son Dongpyo already welcomed him as well in the comments.

  • mbk/pocketdol studio is historically not a great company, and bae173 was not performing well. there was also probably a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes that contributed to him terminating his contract that we don't know of.

from the outside looking in, dohyon has had a rough few years after particopating in two survival shows, debuting in x1 at only 14, disbanding just a few months later due to controversy, having a subunit debut with hangyul, and re-debuting in bae173. promotions for bae173 were inconsistent and poorly executed, with only 3 comebacks after debut. when comparing that to other post x1 groups, most of them had twice as many comebacks in the same amount of time. he was able to produce music for the group, and do some producing for other projects also, but it's very likely he wasn't seeing any money from that. he's very young and very talented, and that youth and talent was basically being wasted.

that's just my take on it tho as a former oneit who casually followed bae173 - i'm sure people more involved in the fandom would have more insight
