I think they are live in the sense that they are actually performing live but they can be edited before releasing if that makes sense, is not that they are singing to a back track, they are actually performing live or at least that's what i think someone correct me if i am wrong
yeah. Even though these shows are live, they are known for editing the vocals after the performance.
I actually wonder why there's a need to retake a performance when they are gonna edit everything anyway. Sounds like such a tiring process. No wonder they reward the singers with an "ONE take or Nothing" tag for making the process easier.
