And this would make sense if more than 7 people participated in the show lol.

All 7 of them were in the show, and it's not like the other 2 girls were competing with anybody else.

So the fans chose them? As opposed to who? Was there any other option lol?

But, in the end, it won't matter. Once the girls debut, most people won't remember this happened in a few years.
