  • US ARMYS as well?? They've been supporting the boys but the company is more happy to please the shareholders than the fans who's buying the albums, merch, etc.

BangPD is hanging out with someone like SB so I have no expectations of him.

  • Finally, the uprising we need.

What's so stupid about this is that BigHit can very well increase the base price of tickets by 25% and ARMY will still sell out in a matter of hours. ARMY needs to know what their finances are looking like first to be able to move forward and prioritize. Who the hell is making this stupid ass and illegal decisions? And don't they know Ticketmaster is currently being probed by Congress for the illegality of "dynamic pricing?"

Agree. If they're gonna raise the price, they should just do it upfront.

They know but they don't care. Its obvious they're doing shady deals behind the scene.

  • Honestly if this persists for BTS concerts, I am gonna have to rethink a lot of things, including my support.

I hope they get it together. The quality and price of the merch, the shipping, etc. The quality of OT7 comeback contents also decreased, like where is the budget.

Changed the title of the thread from “[BTS CONTENT] K-ARMY are cancelling non-album weverse orders and describing the reason as protest to dynamic pricing” to “[BTS CONTENT] K-ARMY are cancelling non-album weverse orders and describing the reason as protest to dynamic pricing. • The last time i quit fangirling was when i was disappointed in my fav’s company that i no longer want to give them my money. I can’t belive this is happening all over again. Hybe is making it so hard for me to support BTS nowadays. As if other issues about the company being incompetent and silent to BTS’ being blatantly discriminated by the whole industry and platforms aren’t enough, now they even decide to betray fans’ trust by this injustice DP. Enough is enough.

If they keep doing this, I might go back to being a casual kpop listener. It took me years to support a group again.

  • hybe executives are not only greedy but big ass idiots too. Like every year they spew some shit in their corporate meeting about their fuck ups, thinking fans are gonna appreciate them and it always ends up getting backfired.

I remember in 2019 it was about eng subs on bts videos and band PD got flocked for his idiotic statement. Last year it was that ntf thingy and bts got soo much hate for it.

I am still amazed how they are still not reviewing their greedy plans before airing it to the world.

Well it is all for good anyway. Atleast people won't support them now blindly and we won't be getting called mantis just for having an opinion against mighty hybe. I wish they actually listen to fans demands this time like in 2019 and get their shit together.

Girl, I always strive for soundcheck and barricade tickets and have been pretty successful getting them at around $550 with taxes+fees included. But dynamic pricing on soundcheck and barricade tickets can cost me anywhere from $1600 to $2200 going off Taylor Swift's concert. :skull:

Are other fandoms like MOA also protesting for it??

  • my only silver lining is fellow fans finally seeing the light

every time there's something off or that seems shady (so many examples lately!), so many fall over themselves to defend Hybe and their so-called ethics.

    glad we can stop pretending.

  • I 100% support this and I think we ARMY should mass email BH and HYBE to remind them that ARMY will support BTS - not HYBE’s greed to take advantage of fans. Concert ticket prices do not need dynamic pricing and ARMY should come before their other business partners.

TBT- Since the crazy Weverse shipping cost increase, I have stopped all ordering from the official Weverse shop over the past year. I haven’t bought merch since Chap 2 anyways - just the music releases is already a lot.

This CEO Park Jiwon needs to be fired. He's behind some of Hybe's dumbest decisions this year from the SM's takeover to this.

Isn't he the one who said that there are no fans just customers in an interview in 2019 :/

    lol

  • I'm waiting for self-proclaimed anti-capitalist Suga, who is currently the only BTS member financially benefiting from this exploitative and deceptive dynamic ticket pricing, to speak up against it. He may have been unaware before, but he should be aware now or very soon. Let's see if principle trumps profit for him.

I don't know how naive it is for me to believe that BTS has enough agency to veto something like this for their own concerts. I like to think that they will speak up for their fans on such an important issue. They can make up the lost revenue easily by streaming their concerts.

I'll be waiting for what they have to say...
