Foreigners talk about why they are leaving/plan to leave Korea

I follow a youtuber from Germany (she is Turkish) who left Korea after 8 years.

She said she first never really planed to live there after she was just in Korea on holidays but than she loved it and staed for 8 years. In her 8th year she slowly begun to think of being lonly even tho she made a crap ton friends in Korea (in her videos she even had 2 Korean friends who knew how to speak German and she also became friends to a guy who works as model in Korea). When she said how she felt over the last months before officialy announcing to go back to Germany she said it might be forever but maybe in the future she decides to go back to Korea or she might even goes to a whole other country. One option she was thinking of was she could also imagine to go to Turkey since most of her relatives live there and she felt save and home in Turkey whenever she visited her family there.

She really said the main reason for her going back to Germany was how she started to feel lonly. She said it wasn't cause she was single and also not cause her friends would make her feel left out.

I saw some other channels before where people talked about their reasons why they would leave Korea (and some channels even have left Korea). One woman I watch who is from the US and lives in Korea for 8 years said she is not sure if and when she ever goes back to the US but she can totally think of going back to the US. She also said she talked about it with her husband and since he never lived abroad he said he would move to the US with her, but since COVID happend they first thought they may only stay 2-3 more years in Korea so they would've left allready last year or would this year but now her husband build up a small company in Korea and she said they might move to a new apartment in Korea this year cause of random BS with renting-laws in Korea so she says she might only leaves Korea in 10 years or so but she is unsure, but she hopes to live in America with her husband oneday.
