Why does Korea still hate women?

Read Kim Ji young born 1982 and you'll understand how Korean society works ( not just Korean society most societies actually )

This is more my own guess but I feel like in a culture where there's a clear cut hierarchy of age and gender its a lot harder to make progress with feminism. People higher up in the hierarchy know they can get away with mistreating someone "lower" than them. There's also so much rigidity with their expectations of people in general and its super conformist. Women have their place and they're supposed to stay there. Korea isn't the only country with this issue but those are why I think their situation is like that.
