i saw knock at the cabin. not bad but definitely not the best shyamalan movie. good example of diversity done right though. it doesn't try to shove THE MESSAGE down the viewers throat and just focuses on an interesting story told through good characters

Alright... can you please stop posting these long titles? I don't want to install a mod just to limit titles on the forums... please keep titles succinct and then explain the rest in the post moving forward.
With that said, I'm damn surprised that M Night still has so much pull in the industry to make people want to watch his movies. I kind of understand the hype behind him, but he has fallen off after Sixth Sense. I'd really love to discuss why he is still able to captivate audiences to go watch his movies even after all of the failures.
I'm in the same boat to be honest, whenever I see his name pop up, I'm intrigued but I always wonder and question why... what is it about his name and brand that makes people interested in seeing his movies? I'm still trying to solve that mystery, and for once I'd like to hear some other peoples opinions on that.
Also... how was the movie? Was it another failure of a surprise ending or did he redeem himself?

shockingly no. he put everything out in the open from the very beginning and followed through. it's not really one of those movies i'd tell everyone to watch but it was alright.

I've heard it advertised, but it's not something that interests me.
