I really think it's better off that many larger companies just avoid talking about this because it always makes them look really "woke" (hate this term but) and performative. It hasn't even been a year since they were promoting NFTs on aespa's account (literally after they made them go to the UN and talk about sustainability) and they're pretty much the inventors of multiple album versions for KPOP groups and has made the industry into what it is today. Like KPOP albums are rotting away in landfills as we speak.
Maybe they needed a controversy to promote the album like with the anti-feminist lyrics of Step Back idk that's all I can think of
