[RUMOUR] BTS's SUGA has reportedly been assigned to public service for his mandatory duties

  • He knows what he's doing. If he thinks that public service would be better for him than active duty then so be it. It is longer but health comes first

However, it's too soon for this info. He have yet to release an album and promote it, there's time for this news. It's just journalists being journalists or should i say "journalists"; they only care about clicks snd clout, they don't care about people they write about

As a Korean man. I don't get a choice the MMA is the body that governs if you are assigned active duty, what your mos will be and if you will do public service, and public service is almost always predicated on medical condition. So if you are examed and they found something new or your medical records show a recent surgery or serious condition they will defer you to public service, you can request active duty. But that's more of a at your own risk situation, they will caution you against it, gdragon is an example to avoid criticism he went active duty despite his leg injury being a thing that would have disqualified him and made him serve in public service, in the end it cost him, because he required to having a serious leg surgery shortly after as his condition could not withstand active duty.

Your health is always more important so if you get public service, just take it
