Now that 3rd gen is ending, honest thoughts on 3rd gen?

It will be the last gen with groups with actual huge impact for kpop. Kpop now is too oversaturated and it always the next new group. Every group is getting huge sales but its not translating elsewhere. The longevity of some of these groups will be in question with the quick turnaround every year. 3rd gen feels like the last of its kind where you have bts being the kings globally, twice being legends in korea and japan, bp being social media monsters, etc.

I dont see it with any of these 4th gen GGs or BGs right now. Granted its early but Im skeptical with the way kpop has moved and changed how they operate.

blackpink broke all records for every girl groups in every aspect why are you making it seem like social media was their only achievement ?

Because Twice's legacy and success is cantered around the US?

Twice dominated in South Korea and opened the Japanese market back up before they started caring for the west in the second half of their career

2012-2017 era was the best . The gap between bts and other kpop group was so big that it gets boring.
