    That speaks millions

    I said that before

It is like a battle between generations, and when a mother and daughter are fighting, their (barely older) step-grandmother jumps into the fight and beating them.

The sphectre of the Senior Singer was felt today, and IU now leads Inkigayo with the most number of wins , beating her rival twice on head-to-head fight.

At this rate, IU (who has one more potential win remaining in Inkigayo because of the no show last week) might fight aespa again in the final week of this year , both at inkigayo and music bank. (She won the final week of Music Bank , not aired , in 2019.)

What should the 3rd and 4th gen do in order to defeat the elephant in the room? I can;t even imagine now.

  • that way even if first generation groups or soloists like lee hyori, h.o.t, ot5 tvxq or seo taiji and the boys have a full blown comeback. The generations that grew up with them will tune in and they'll be a threat to the newer generations. This isn't possible cuz of member compilcations but a top group or soloist is bound to be a threat regardless of the generation.

IU herself has been a consistent threat very few groups can go up against for 3 consecutive generations now. Nobody will be suprised if she continue's to dominate for atleast another 3 generations.

I am afraid so. The way things are going, IU's potential marriage, childbirth, etc won't affect her fans; her casual fans already left on Nov 2012 and her current fans are willing to stick with her no matter what she will do in the future.

  • omg it doesn't have to bloodbath competition all the time, if IU is still being successful good for her, why someone has to defeat her, chill its just music

It is going long for too much time and IU already had two comebacks (Celebrity and Lilac) and terrorized KPop . 3 times a year appears to be too much
