Talk about a tough crowd.why are some blinks angry here? it's not a drag to say we expected bp to be bigger than they are
no one here is saying they are nugus or whatever, they are the biggest gg
HOWEVER, with the way they were presented by media/their fans/their company/... all in all, the industry, many expected them to reach at least close to bts' level. they are so often namedropped in the same breath as bts, so it's not very surprising that people would compare them & now in their 6th year, find them lacking in comparison.
also, no need to bring out other ggs, because i gotta be honest, many probably didn't expect much more for other kggs. e.g. twice? they did extremely well & dominated 2016-2018 ggs in asian countries, but i didn't expect them to be bigger than that internatioally/in the west.
