Yeah that OP is probably a fan of another group or just a solo stan, doesn’t keep up with Jungkook. Don’t take it seriously. He has recommended songs outside of the “generic pop songs” lol varied selection of songs tbh.

In regards to JK: Left and Right did really well and is Charlie’s most relevant song in awhile, largely thanks to JK’s participation.

USA doesn’t care about World Cup so Dreamers doesn’t really apply.

JK has tons of potential, he just needs to decide what to do with it and what HYBE allows that to be.

He does have potential, but he needs to build his name first. Which is what bighit music doing rn with all the opportunities.

If the Pharrell rumor was right, and if it has video/it’s clear Jungkook is participating in it (since they all rave it’s a good song, even the rumor provider themselves), it can truly build his name within western audience.

Only BTS members have a chance in all of kpop. Does that mean that kpop has a chance at the western market? No. Realistically BTS members have a chance if they sing in English. Otherwise Kpop songs will never have a chance. No other kpop idols have a chance even if they released an all English album.

If he releases good songs and has the label support why not? UMG and Hybe both need to be on the board for that. Which i think they will be IF he isn't forced to join military services by next year(cause he will 27/28 yo)and is allowed to do concerts on his own.

which has zero bearing on what we do in the USA — he can be huge here with the right music, marketing and sustained promo.

He has the best chance out of every BTS member. It’s not a guarantee though.

He hasn’t even had an official solo debut though? Just a webtoon OST and the Puth collab. We haven’t seen him seriously release or promote his own music yet.
