  • It's clearly a tactic to keep their monthly listeners high while they're in hiatus

im pretty sure they were already doing this before the hiatus was announced its to make them seem more popular though obviously

  • GP know BTS name more compared to members name. For example If they just put Jin x Coldplay - GP might not be interested compared to Jin of BTS x Coldplay or BTS x Coldplay. The brand BTS is very strong

they don’t use it to “seem more popular,” it trains the algorithm to understand that all solo works are extensions of the greater team project. 88rising does something similar and, again, it’s smart.

  • do you even know the contents of hybe bts contracts with third parties?

kpop fans are stuck in the kpop bubble to understand anything about legal arrangements and norms

Why talk when you know nothing?

Jin's song is not a collab, he does not write Jin of BTS anywhere

  • Only collabs with Western acts are credited to bts and I'm pretty sure it's those western artists asking to tag bts in the credits since bts members aren't known as soloists globally, tagging bts means easy recognition. If it was bts being greedy then that that would've been credited to bts as well because psy is huge in SK.

  • plz they did this with that juiceworld sing, 99% of those people were never listening to bts in the first place but bts still needed to benefit from those extra listeners

U do know that labels are also involved in collabs? That collab was to push bts more in western scene. All collabs that had labels involved were never meant to push bts as soloists.
