HYBE announces end-year concert is moved to June, and will be re-branded as WEVERSE CON Festival

On November 18, HYBE Labels announced that 'Weverse Con' will return re-branded as 'Weverse Con Festival' in June of 2023. The festival will in fact take place in-person for the first time ever from June 10-11 at the KSPO Dome and the 88 Lawn Field at Olympic Park in Seoul, delivering a new kind of fan experience.

According to reports, the newly rebranded 'Weverse Con Festival' will also invite various Weverse artists outside of HYBE Labels, expanding the performance lineup.

my opinion about that:

It's really pleasant surprise and very good decision. Normally it kind of bumped out out nowhere just after first part of big award shows, and just after end year festivals sometimes even being scheduled in same time as MBC Gayo.

Now it will be different it will be in very good date in first part of June, even before all other summer festivals start, and way before "heavy" season of university/city festivals.

And of course that said I love the idea of inviting other groups. Like for example Oh My Girl, STAYC, Everglow, Dreamcatcher, Billlie, APink, and Purple KISS all have Weverse profiles...
