Do you think Jennie beats or can beat Lisa in terms of Stage Presence?

I think she already does now. She proved herself today at the Chicago concert. She really knows how to hype the crowd and set the mood according to the song's vibe. She is nowhere near Lisa when it solely comes to dancing but her stage presence is right up there!

Jennie, when she tries is better than Lisa. Lisa is the best dancer but I don't get the hype about her stage presence and that's the same for many other main dancers of kpop groups. Many are great dancers but lack presence.

Lisa is consistently their great link to a good performance. She is consistently good, consistently right and I do think she tries not to overshadow the others, but Jennie is super charismatic too. She relies more on interacting directly with the crowd while Lisa believes in her dance and relies more in giving dance.

Both are important to BlackPink performance.

People reducing Lisa's stage presence just to her dancing lol, when she's gone viral for just sitting down and rapping.

She easily owns the stage. She consistently brings her A Game back to back each performance, which is why people undermine her.

There's a reason she's getting the highest no. of new IG followers after each performance and being praised by media outlets as the highlight of the show for her solo performances.

But then again this is Allkpop so I'm not surprised.

I don't like BP but Lisa is a better performer overall. Jennie looks like she is always thinking of the next party she wants to attend. Lisa at least looks like she wants to be on stage.

I'm not a fan but Lisa always dominates even when she's not the focus, she's always on.

same even though both are charismatic Lisa is probably more since she is more consistent, but I think Jennie knows how to capture people's attention when she gives her all. She has certain appeal that draws you in.

all in all it's a matter of what you value more in a performer.

The thing is Jennie is a better and versatile performer than lisa but is not consistent at all. One day she gives it her all and the next day she barely even tries, looks entirely bored and that's her biggest disadvantage.

Meanwhile lisa on the other hand might be a bit monotonous while performing but she's really consistent throughout all the shows and looks like she enjoys being on the stage.

Especially looking at the group performances from their ongoing tour proves who's hard carrying most of the performances and it's without a question lisa.

So unless Jennie gets consistent with her performances, I can't rank her above lisa on terms of stage presence/control so by default lisa >> Jennie

if you want to be seen as a reliable performer with good stage presence, you can't be half assing 65% of the time. Jennie has a very strong stage presence, but the fact that she is so incredibly inconsistent - and i'm not talking about not giving 100% all the time to reserve energy or something, i'm talking about not caring about 70% of the choreo, just to go 150% on your own parts - brings her down. Lisa is top2 best stage presence/most popular in bp, yet you don't ever see her slacking off & that gives her an edge over jennie.

Lisa is more consistent but sometimes she's too "pageanty". Jennie on the other hand has great charisma and likes hyping up the crowd but lacks dedication to the stage.
