Heechul never lied about his height though, he's around 176 cm and always said to base the height of other SuJu members around him lol. He doesn't usually wear insoles either and he has bad posture, but they're pretty close in height, he's maybe just a little taller, like 1-3 cms.
It seems that shorter male idols really add a lot of cms to their height.

Heechul was a little taller before his accident and lost around 3cm after the surgeries.
I think it's generational difference tho?
after all we see so many male young actors and idols being as tall as tree
so no need to compare Yujin to 40-50 year old ahjussis
that said personally I'm about 180 and actually was in more than 2 year long relationship with girl which was 174
when I wore a suit and elegant shoes, and she wore dress and high heels we were same height
and I also only noticed this on photos but not in comparison to me, but to comparison of other middle-age, elderly from my family, because ladies are about 162, and men bit more than 170 so she was taller than everyone
but... my 10 year younger cousins, boys are now 187-188 so like I said that's generational difference
