Did TXT fail for their standards?

    Hybe failed them, they had the potential. Hybe will regret pushing only yeonjun.

    PL did well but they're back to flopping with the latest comeback though. PL might as well just be a fluke.

    TXT seems more consistent to me, as long as they don't try too hard to be something they're not (GBGB) then casual fans will tune in for them.

    TXT are doing well but Hybe messed up their rookie years, losing out on a lot of potential fans. You could tell it was their first new group in a while and they failed to establish the members individually (except Yeonjun) among other things

    They had good music and good looking members, hybe thought oh that's enough.

    The other members aside Yeonjun just don't have that much star power. I'm speaking from a non-fan's pov.

    When I look at BTS, each member have something different about them that attract different kinds of people. When I look at TXT, I only see Yeonjun.

    I'm pretty sure they have the 2nd best selling album by a 4th gen bg, with 1.7M on circle chart (Correct me if I'm wrong), so theyre already pretty big by that measure at least?? They've also been trending a lot in korea lately so I think their popularity will continue to grow as long as they don't pull another song like gbgb out.

    people still have expectations about TXT despite the popularity of other groups. The theme is HYBE won't let BH have another successful group, for fear of abandonment. BH just pushes YEONJUN but I wouldn't be surprised if Huening Kai outclasses him in the future.

    1. He's Wasian. Korean will always prioritize their own over anyone. If he was in China or Japan, maybe he would have.

    2. Era of Wasians is over and NewJeans Danielle being the second least popular despite being pretty and talented is the proof.

    3. Despite being a wasian, he still got dragged for his looks like his little sis. If he had Vernon looks, maybe, but since he doesn't, nah.
