Why don’t people listen to YG boy groups outside BigBang anymore?

I think their music is really good and not noisy too. But Ikon, Winner, Treasure flop on both charts and sales. Why aren’t people tuning in anymore when YG boy groups used to dominate?

people used to listen to winner and iKON but the burning scandal and the B.I drug scandal turned people off from stanning YG boy groups

iKon fell off after B.I left. Not their fault, but I prefer his solo music. They are in a career dead end.

Winner were always stronger in Korea than internationally. They have one of the best vocalists in KPop in the group, but they don't really have a stan attractor. It was Mino, borderline, but then he made it a mission to permanently fry his hair and eyebrows to oblivion and look like a mad professor.

Treasure don't have star quality. I know they have a big fandom that disagrees, but they are forgettable to me. The song Lisa danced to with that one member sounded pleasant, but then I forgot it. It almost feels like they promote in an alternate universe. Most groups cross my timeline whether I follow them or not, but never Treasure, unless Blackpink or someone else at YG is involved.

they chart in top 30 melon when you fav struggle to crack top 100. maybe try again later

Because imo, only BIGBANG actually makes music that I like listening to. The rest are very hit or miss.

Scandal argument doesnt really hold much water considering the group in center of most of it set new records with an unpromoted single just few months back. And bigbang is still played and referenced every week on tv shows/radio etc, general public doesnt really care much...fandoms are another matter but they dont matter much for charts in korea so.

Fact is no boygroup with the exception of BTS have ever come anywhere close to the consistent perfomance that bigbang have/had in korea, not their own boygroups either. While yg succeded with the transition from 2ne1 to BP, they utterly failed with replacing bigbang.
