Same tbh. I don't get the appeal. Although I am asexual but still. This isn't about Kpop idols but I remember there was this popular Eren fanfic going around on tiktok and people were hyping it so much. Something about seven minutes in heaven game I think. Anyway, people were hyping it up and I was so excited to read it only to search it up and realize that it was a freaking self-insert fanfic. Like, I get finding anime guys hot, but like how do you even account for the irl 3d x 2d relationship? Do you imagine yourself as a 2d character? Do you imagine them as 3d? Wouldn't it be wonky? And what if you're ugly? Be honest, would that hot anime 2d guy even be into you? You would let them suffer that? Wouldn't you have to try to hard to delude yourself? Kpop idols aren't much better, but at least you're on the same plane of existence... Anyway, my point is, YNs is so ick to me.

Not specially talking about fics, there are some fans who don't read those fics but still are delusional af. I call them yns too

oh them. I think it is becoming normalized lately. I always see on twitter, fans call their faves "their man" or "their husbands". I find it cringy but it's whatever you know.
