Anyone knows why almost only men make ads for makeup in Japan?

    I noticed over the years how most ads for makeup are done by male celebrity in Japan. Anyone knows why?


    Most times when I see that Japanese makeup ads exist it's often for lipsticks and eyeshadow and almost all the time it's done by male celebrity, mostly musicians

    Pretty much. :thumbup: Just like KPOP groups signing with cosmetics brands and releasing their own series. Many Japanese cosmetic brands also prefer to feature male idols in their ads by targeting fans.
