Do you think AI will replace all creative artists? (Illustrators, filmmakers, writers, music producers)

  • that's why I said "on the bright side"
    :-(:-(:-(

  • I'm just glad I decided not to pursue a career in art. It wasn't paying well 10 years ago when I briefly entertained the idea at 16 and now the job of illustrator is clearly about to become obsolete.

The AIs are flawed and limited in what they can do right now, but I'm sure they're going to improve rapidly now that they're up and running. I wouldn't be surprised if, within the next 10 years, these AIs were improved to the point where they just mass produce exactly what people want them to.

Yeah the sad and fortunate thing is even if they are not perfected yet, they accomplished what the industry needs...

I think it would be the same like the car or vehicle industry where most of the worker are swapped out with automated machine. They just needs 1 or 2 people to operate and monitoring.

The latest trend is stable diffusion where you can create something with some prompt and a bit parameters adjustment. But you still need a human knowing arts to make the decision and the refinement.
