did i say promo was the only reason after like is successful?? you’re the one putting words in people’s mouth here assuming everyone and their mother is out to downplay ive while you’re actually the only person doing the downplaying of other groups. obviously after like is well liked by people, if it wasn’t no amount of promo could help sustain it on charts for long. at the same time after like still benefited from promo helping to expose it to more potential listeners. these two facts aren’t mutually exclusive honey even if you apparently think they are. ive’s promo is doing what it’s supposed to do which is a good thing but you’re here trying to deny its impact just to have something to “one up” another group. also you seem to have no idea what victim complex means judging by your laughable examples lol

ive is a digimon now, nj just had a trendy debut. Just because blind hybe stans or little 7s overhype them to death doesn't mean they are comparable to ive.

Because SK is obsessed with IVE and IVE doesn't work based on hype, they EARNED their popularity. The members worked hard to promote and give the best they had and Starship put effort on the song picked and even to produce a gorgeous MV.

IVE grew exponentially since debut, their streams and sales doubled each era.

They earned their place, it's pathetic to see users trying to downplay them.
