Anything is possible. Singers/dancers get a lot of glory, but singer-songwriter/musicians can get certain levels of respect that the average "boyband" won't get. If they (and their team) come with consistently memorable-song melodies, riffs, and vocal melodies, they can become another notable JYP/J Studio-Id0l Band..of course not without enduring some growing pains as musicians and songwriters..real instruments and live singing for the long-term win, though.

I only discovered their stuff because I heard them on one of the music shows while waiting for the artist I wanted and I thought the song was really catchy and went to check out the EP, which I liked. I found their debut single quite crappy and would never bothered with them again (they seemed poorly done knockoff Hot Topic mall punk), and was really pleasantly surprised. I wonder how many other people wrote them off out of that debut single (even beyond the GP's disinterest in many bands.)
