well, coming from a nonfan, the only thing i know abt loona is that their fans are annoying whereas i know what chuu looks like (she's super cute) and love her personality (watched a few of her youtube channel videos). i haven't listened to music from either but in terms of name recognition, i would say chuu is bigger

Yes lol. Not even a question. Chuu herself has many endorsements and is a variety favourite. Loona doesn't have anyone else that has even close to that kind of recognition.
