the difference is that in 6 years those trending rookies you talking about will end up like other trending ggs flops and bp will still be the standard for whatever new 5th gen rookies that's doing well at the time

they are playing big leages, the korean charts are for preteen votes, wich are powerfull, just in korea, so it belong to young groups like ive and New Jeans...the rest of the world, pure BP. Game over

3rd gen gg are considered old now at the ripe age of 25, even Twice "the nation gg" is flopping. 16 years old will now dominate again then will flop in 5-6 years etc

blackpink being the biggest girl group in the world, being #3 on melon and breaking all records is something the two kids groups will dream to achieve one day. it's easier being a trendy group but longevity is something hard to accomplish and so far blackpink is the only group that has that until now.
