Everyone, including some Onces, are always blaming JYP for giving them 'bad' songs as the reason for their decline. But I don't think their songs are bad at all, actually. Fancy and Feel Special are in their top 5 best title tracks, and More&More, I Can't Stop Me, and The Feels are great songs as well. Even Alcohol Free and TTT are not bad, just forgettable. The only truly terrible TT they've had recently is Scientist...which I admit I never even finished listening to
I don't even really think Twice falling off is due to JYP. Onces go on and on about how JYP promotes them terribly, but this isn't true. Republic and JYP went all out for The Feels, with remixes, radioplay, and multiple performances. Every Twice album in recent years has been sold in the US, with exclusive Target and B&N signed versions to boost sales and longevity on BB200. Twice started promoting TTT the day it released, with more promotions in SK scheduled than some rookie groups.
